Thinking outside the box to solve challenges
Many times, contractors are faced with seemingly impossible challenges. While constructing a Bar Method fitness facility located on the second floor of a shopping center, we met a challenge when the full-length mirrors couldn’t be carried up the low-clearance stairway. With no way to navigate the mirrors up the stairs, we had to think outside the box to get them inside.
We worked with our general contractor to form a solution. With the help of a forklift, we raised the mirrors one by one to the second floor and carefully lifted them over the handrail surrounding the outdoor second-floor landing. This process was repeated when the front desk also couldn’t be carried up the stairs.
Always conscious of our client’s budgets, we were able to avoid a change order to accommodate the extra labor. We’re supported by great contractors that go the extra mile to ensure jobs are completed with little to no cost added.
